I’ve been formulating and sharing botanical skincare products since 2013, when I made lip balm from Calendula flowers growing in my garden to share with friends and family. Having apprenticed on a small family farm the year before, I fell in love with this plant and its amazing properties of healing wounds and restoring the skin.
I quickly received requests for more lip balm and decided to begin selling it. As a side business, I shared my products to a small but loyal audience across the country. In 2017, I went through some major life changes—moving to New Orleans to pursue my Master’s degree—and the business moved to the back burner. I’m so excited to be back sharing some of those signature products I first offered many years ago, along with an expanded range of new offerings.
I’ve learned a lot since those early days, and my love for plants and their healing properties has only grown deeper with time. I’m so excited to be able to offer you a variety of products aimed at caring for your body—something many of us struggle to make time to do. With products that are simple to use, enjoyable, and thoughtfully formulated to heal and nourish, I’m hopeful that Kintsu will become a staple in your daily routine and provide comfort with each use.
